Appears to be a bit of an issue in the US...But I do not know of any cases reported here...could this be mistaken for the Air Con overflow issue?

COme over here to Alfa Forum if you want the grisly detail. The leaking heater matrix has killed several older Alfas byt destroying rare and costly electronics. Teh Auto Gearbok ECU retails at over £1000 on the 166, which may only be worth £1500.

There are several parts common to my 3200 and Alfa 166 (door mirrors, interior photochromic mirror), so matrix could easily be same.
