Try and take the car out every few days up to operating temp and combine with a trip to the shop. Went on my favoured 'loop' get it warmed up, stopped to go into shop, pulled key out and it jerked forward like it was still I gear (it was - saw the 1 as I took the key out) - all dials stopped as 'on', 700 rpm, half tank of petrol, temp on 90. Weird I thought, put key back in, nothing. Nothing worked at all.
Had a think - 'battery reset!' got into boot and the negative clamp had totally come off. I'd had it fitted, you know, the lever clamp? Can only put it down to speed bump and some adjustment needed.
Also, does the QP DS blip on change-down? It definitely was today, maybe only 4-3 and 3-2, had no radio on cos I'd not entered the code from last flat battery. Always have it on normally.
Could be related to the battery clamp issue but I cant see it. All good now tho...
