According to the Italian based automaker, the Maserati GranTurismo S Limited Edition has been developed in order to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Italy's unification. The Maserati GranTurismo S Limited Edition comes with a matte Sebring Blue exterior color with carbon fiber accents, polished aluminum brake calipers and the model is sitting on large 20 inch alloy wheels.

“Maserati is presenting the GranTurismo S Limited Edition at the Bologna Motor Show to celebrate 150 years of Italian unification. With an exclusive limited edition of 12 cars intended for the Italian market, the GranTurismo S Limited Edition is characterized by unique trim levels and contentsâ€, as the automaker says in its official press release.

Even if Maserati didn't say anything about the GranTurismo S Limited Edition's powerplant, the model is most likely to be powered by a 4.7 liter V8 engine which is developing a total output of 444 horsepower and has a peak torque of 510 Nm (376 lb-ft). The GranTurismo S should be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds before hitting its top speed of 295 km/h (183 mph).

Looks no different, Matte Blue is horrid.

Ive seen this colour , not on a masser i add , but with the carbon fibre its very marmite , and to be honest i quite like it , never been a fan of the matt colours but ,this would grow on most

There was a matt blue GT-S at the Paris Motor Show last year. I thought it looked great - a lot better than all the matt black cars I have seen.

How many more 'reworks' of the GranTurismo are we going to see? Thank goodness we only got one special edition of the GranSport.

If Maserati want to do something useful, why don't they build the GranTurismo MC for European market ... and at the same price point.
