A limited edition named the GranTurismo S has been recently presented by Maserati at the 36th edition of the Bologna Motor Show, in Italy.
According to the Italian based automaker, the Maserati GranTurismo S Limited Edition has been developed in order to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Italy's unification. The Maserati GranTurismo S Limited Edition comes with a matte Sebring Blue exterior color with carbon fiber accents, polished aluminum brake calipers and the model is sitting on large 20 inch alloy wheels.
“Maserati is presenting the GranTurismo S Limited Edition at the Bologna Motor Show to celebrate 150 years of Italian unification. With an exclusive limited edition of 12 cars intended for the Italian market, the GranTurismo S Limited Edition is characterized by unique trim levels and contentsâ€, as the automaker says in its official press release.
Even if Maserati didn't say anything about the GranTurismo S Limited Edition's powerplant, the model is most likely to be powered by a 4.7 liter V8 engine which is developing a total output of 444 horsepower and has a peak torque of 510 Nm (376 lb-ft). The GranTurismo S should be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds before hitting its top speed of 295 km/h (183 mph).
