GT - Ongoing Electrical problems

Hi all,

I have a 2008 GranTurismo that I have had for about 9 months that is starting to misbehave. In Feb I had what turned out to be a ABS sensor failure, then a week after that was repaired I started getting an intermittent electronic park parking brake failure and now all the instrument gauges have stopped working, no illumination, no movement, the SPORT mode, ICE, PARK OFF and MSP buttons have stopped working as have the parking sensors.

Interesting the digital readout in the instrument panel is partially working, it displays the gear but not does not repeat any other info including speed and the odometer (which has frozen).

The car itself still drives beautifully, I just don't know how fast I am going or if I have any petrol!

I guess I will have to pop it down to a dealer, has anyone else experienced such like? Could it be just a lot of fuses?
Thanks,
Ian

Sorry to hear of your difficulties.......its like flying blind, intermittent issues always hard to sort....as you say, its a trip to a dealer/indie to get sorted, but before you do, why not try a few phone calls to see it anyone has dealt with this set of issues before?

Probably a fuse or a short in one of the wires. A decent auto electrician might be what you really need.

Thanks for the feedback. Went out in the car today, all started no perfectly, no EPB warnings, all the dials and buttons working fine :frusty6: - capricious indeed. I will get Giallo to look at it soon.

Yeah I wonder how good the SW is, it's not the cars fault it the SW short cuts. Never seen so many sets of fuses WTF, why?
