Seen these on eBay - while I expect comments about saving money etc. I can't help but think, 'well why not'. Much better experience on here than I have, clutch needs renewing fairly soon, been off the scene with a very poorly wife for over a year now and looking to get back into the car. Pragmatic comments please, cheers!

Two items are:

GT clutch assembly (BNIB)
&
HE release bearing

For me it would depend if I was fitting myself or not.

If I was using a garage to do the work, I would always want them to supply and fit parts, that way they are responsible for faulty parts, not you.

Good point. I've done this before, thinking you're saving money. If it fails the garage won't fix it and you have to replace the part plus labour.

Of course, I wouldn't expect any garage to honour that responsibility. New, genuine, unused parts - the risk is on me to weigh up against the cost saving. In this case the cost saving is over a grand which I see as fairly good odds given the authenticity of the sellers.
