This is on Autotrader the cheapest one I have seen to date, is this the start of prices coming down at last!

...its been slow A....were min of 60 in spring, so lost 12K since....hmmmmmmmmmm...this time next year...might be around.......36/38K.......

hope so they need to be about 30k in two years time when I want to upgrade. Of course once I have one I will want them to hold their value.

Thing is that one is still too expensive as its a private sale, high miles, only five months warranty left, tyre condition(?), brake condition(?), five months to a service/MOT. A dealer would sort all that out in the price of the car. Bet you trade bids on that car are c£43k.

Agree Bigbob..dealer would be looking at very low 40's.....When you think that there is a GS Spyder for sale for 45k this car looks far more attractive.

There are deals to be done but private sellers always confuse the discount on their new car with the over allowance on the old one.

Result is that, say, £70k and £40k (£30k to change) are shown as £75k and £45k (still £30k) and the punter puts his car for sale privately for £5k more than it is really worth.

Should make it clear that the above assumes buying a new car stickered at £75k but with £5k to come off it for a deal.
