Woody, do you know where all the GS Spyders were sold at which dealer??? I would say most were sold via Meridien.

Very nice, is the boot the same size as the coupe?
Never driven the spyder, how good is the structural rigidity. Is there much scuttle shake and is the ride and handling affected compared with the coupe.
It's a shame most people looking for drop top will only look at the usual ubiqutous German convertibles when there's so much more on offer!

Nopt in the same league as the coupe as you'd expect but greatly improved after the 2003 revisions. I wonder if additional measures were taken to brace the GS Spyder over the standard Spyder as hard to give a wobbly car the GS tag if not. I like the fact it has done some proper miles, it will be a better car for them as long as it's all looked after correctly.

I think this a future classic - rarity, looks and performance, the three requisites, are all there.

Must admit... I'm tempted. This or a 360 Spyder? Next year, these will be sub-£30k, maybe mid-20s, not as ultimately fast or precise as the 360 but just as good looking, less negative reactions and an easier to drive car in London as less wide! And £10-15k less without much further to fall. It's not really in competition with the GranCabrio so effectively Maser have not replaced it.

Oh Lewis i would get the GS Spyder, there were a few 360's at the Supercar Driver meet last Sunday and i dont think they have aged well at all. GS Spyder is just pure class.

I'm biased, but I too would get the GS Spyder. They're rare as rocking horse feacal matter, and stunning looking. Classy too, IMO.

I think it is decent value for money as they are so rare. The bad thing is if you wait for another example in better condition, you could be waiting a long time due to the rarity of these. I wish Maserati had produced these cars in 2005 and not started in 2006 as they would have sold a heck of a lot more.

I'm no sure about that. Spoke to a fella recently who has driven a few and his opinion was they're not the car the coupe is. In fact, his choice was a late 4200 coupe over the Spyder and even over the GS Coupe!

Woody agree...not as much of a driver s car as the Coupe..But it you add a few choice upgrades it can come close....I was blow away by Spydernicks car yesterday..It handle brilliantly with the lower stance.......Not as I remember the Spyder.

The ADG one is now looking like a very good price....GS Coupes on 2006 are 26 to 30k and the GS Spyder is usually loads more......

It is rare to see a GS Spyder with high-ish miles though Andy, Emblem had a GS Spyder for sale in 2010, 34k miles for £35k, sold it in around 2 weeks. Not sure why this has not sold, market not at it's best though.

If its a straight car its a good price as you will get it for a little less no doubt.
