All Main Franchise Dealer Servicing,Brakes 8k miles ago and looks like the expensive 4 yr was done where someone probably paid for the sensors etc.
You will be able to do it cheaper at an Indie.

Plus point that some one has obviously serviced and maintained regardless of cost and with that sort of money spent you should have a few relatively easy years

I think it looks like an incredibly well maintained car, and it’s a huge positive that the owners were willing to throw whatever money was needed at it....

It also looks like it’s one of the rarer late autos with the Sports pack. Definitely worth a visit I would have thought.

I bought mine from them over 2 years ago at a similar price to that car despite it being 5 years newer. Prices are crazy right now...

I don't think its that unusual to spend circa £2.5k per year on an Italian sports/GT car that was £85k or so when new. Especially when that includes over 30k miles worth of brakes, tyres etc. I'd say its a properly looked after car and therefore potentially a good one to buy.

Looking at this vehicle: https://www.adgsevenoaks.co.uk/used-cars/9041447-maserati-gran-turismo-s/

All looks lovely until you look at the servicing costs.... The "cheapest" is £2,839 & the most expensive was £5,972!!
Six thousand pounds @ 4 years old & <30K miles, holy f....

Would this put you off or the opposite since the money has already been spent?

Other opinions also welcome.

Most people complain that cars have been under serviced. Obviously it works both ways too!

PS Ask to see the invoices but as others have said, main dealer prices on things like brakes and doing a full four year service can cost a lot. If you like it buy it as it looks great.

How did you get on with haggling on price Contigo? I also have an old Range Rover that I need to part ex, did you part ex a vehicle at all?

The car looks great. I have just paid to have my Mum's GLA 200d to have an annual service at Mercedes. They called me with a bill of just over £700 and I moaned. So they dropped it to £630. All they did was look at it, change the oil, filter and washed it. My 2008 4.2 GT goes to Maranello, Egham for a service every two years and it costs around £1,500, for all the fluids, belts, transmission oil, and a good wash. The conclusion is that euro box basic servicing costs are the same at a main dealer for basic servicing on a Maserati.

PS - They make a really nice coffee at Maranello, phone me and lend me a petrol Ghibli. Mercedes do none of this. They are all expensive, but if they are going to take your money at least make you smile.

My 11 plate cayenne turbo servicing will be just over £500 (main dealer) and 20k service intervals, bit of a revelation.
After sorting out the Assetto corsa over the last few years it makes a pleasant change to find a reasonably priced car. i guess
having a glorified VW dose have its benefits.

I say buy it and it’s quiet market so you never know what they’ll do to close a deal.

September is normally a good month with new reg cars going out but October may be quieter

Not forgetting that every 20,000 miles a CayT will also need new tyres, brakes, etc, on top of the £500 oil change and wash. No such thing as a heavy powerful Porsche that's cheap to run.
