I have also tweaked the settings on the stereo as I wasn't aware it needed adjusting for each input, this has made a massive difference. It still isn't a patch on the audio in the 640d, however the exhaust note more than makes up for this! Shame it has been mainly icy since I got hold of the car!

You don't have to press the accelerator. Just turn on the car and wait for about 3 seconds so the majority of dash lights go out then start the car. It needs time to prime everything measure the clutch wear and reset the clutch.

It does this every time you start the car.
