Just curios how many miles people get out of a tank and their mpg (this won’t put me off I accept the awful mpg) I am use to 15-18 from my Beamer :/

Driving normally, I get 20 or so.

On a run, this can go up to 23 or 24.

Having a play ... not quite made it to single figures but low teens is about right.

12-30 is what I have seen over 55k miles. Overall average is 21/22.

They really can do 30mpg on the motorway if it's 50-70 mph busy stuff. Unlike cars like the M3/RS4 the tank us huge (90 litres?) so range is massive - I hardly ever get to the low fuel light zone.

Which UK Masers have the km/h marks on the speedo - mine has and I'm wondering whether it's cos it went straight to the Republic of Ireland (well, via Charles Hurst, Belfast). Not sure when Ireland adopted kms though on road signs, speed limits etc....

I managed 18.6mpg for the Tuscan trip last year - over just over 1,000 miles, including the time at Imola and a lot of time in Race mode for the sound - I was surprised at how high this was - maybe I should have been driving harder? On shorter, but spirited trips the very low teens is more normal.

running average on 4.2 Qp is about 18 so 300+ miles between fill up, more if I let the light come on.
Really do not give a toss, so long as the figure is consistent. Every mile is a smile.

I get 22-24 on a run, 17-18 otherwise.
In comparison, my Ferrari 360 would do 30 on a run and the Bentley averaged 7 in town!!!!!

I drove back from Manchester to home one Sunday afternoon, with little or no traffic before lockdown and got around 28mpg. The M6 was 50mph and the rest of the journey at legal speeds on cruise, and sport off, and just to see how it compared to my old 4200. The 4200 could get to 22-25mph. So bigger engine is not necessarily thirstier.

Never looked!

When the fuel warning light came on it got filled up!

Couldn't have been great as it happened a lot!

Are you guys relying on the onboard computers for your average mileage tests or doing a physical fill up and drive and fill up again test , after the German emissions debacle i wouldnt hold too much faith on the progamming of any car manufacturer
