Low mileage - c.8,000; but big price £79,975 for a 2015 car.

One question - did all the Centennial's just say "Granturismo Sport" on the passenger side of the dash rather than "MC Stradale"?

Can’t answer your question, but if owned this car I’d be taking that badge off and putting a Strad badge on!

Strange - it looks like a Centennial with all the 100 elements but it should say MC Stradale on the dash as mine does. Someone must have replaced it at some point.

There were quite a few more than 100 made but why let the facts get in the way of a good story.

I think this one has been on market over a year. The badge is definitely wrong as I had one of these with the MC Stradale badge. The red inserts on the MC usually drop out after some time so perhaps that’s the reason for the change but I would want the MC Stradale there. There is another going to market soon at Maserati Solihull with the Carbon bonnet at a similar price

It's about £10k over priced. I suspect they are waiting for the market to catch up. They could be waiting a while.

This is where the market was at end of 2021:

I guess it's in a similar place now except harder to sell.thmy car, purchased from the trader that bought it from The Market but after

This is my car.

I purchased from the trader that had bought it from The Market auction, but after it been for a service / inspection at Graypaul Maserati and some other minor paint prep to make perfect, plus a warranty and I got a cracking px on my 2014 Sport MC autoshift.

I think that The Market auction format naturally limited the price, given that an auction is obviously time limited and really for cash buyers only (without a px) that aren’t bothered about comfort of a warranty, plus it was an odd choice for original owner to put it on needing a 2 year service with some minor prep not done. I think it attracted close to trade money in reality at auction because of these factors. Having said that I did try to put in a winning bid but messed it up on the day, but it didn’t cost me too much more all considered from the trader (bearing in mind it was fully prepped and the generous px given).

Done just a few hundred miles in the year I’ve had it, and it’s just ticked over 4k miles from new. Still factory fresh inside and out, and never been out on anything but a sunny day. She is a beaut and always gets attention on the rare occasion I take it out.

I am confused, car looks like it’s for sale but Maserdan says it’s his car so did he buy it and the car is no longer for sale ?

Yes, there are three different cars in this thread - mine is the one that was sold via The Market last January (a 2016 plate, 4k miles) and the one at Kaimanns (2015 plate, 8k miles) has been for sale since 2021 and the latest one for sale is at Sytner (2015 plate, just under 5k miles) with the exposed carbon bonnet.

@dickygrace, you bid £69,999 on my 2016 car on The Market auction last January, which is partly why I think the trader (FATBOY302) at £70,850 got it for almost trade price.
Yes I did my error. Was thinking less but I think I offered top money and then Auto 100 whacked £10k on that.

Yes they did, in fact I think it first went on at £82.5k in Jan 2022 and I bought it at end of Feb 2022. I did end up paying a decent margin more than the £70,850 they paid at The Market auction but having said that, it had a main dealer service, further prep and a warranty, but they key for me was the p/x - they gave me a very generous trade in. Consequently, they had it in stock for over 6 months (I watched it from afar and the price was reduced a few times and from memory ended up less than they gave me).

To be fair, they were good to deal with and some nice cars in stock in one area of the showroom aside from more run of the mill stuff. Strangely though, having just looked on their website, some of their highest priced stock (cars into six figures) is still on sale today some 12 months on......
