I’ve had these removed yesterday so on here before going on eBay. I bought these from panicracing about 18 months ago for £1500.00 and have covered 1000 miles. They clamps are in great condition and sound fabulous. My car is always garaged so been well looked after. I’m moving the car on, hence being available.

Ideally pickup is preferred so they don’t get damaged on route, I would like £1350 otherwise best offer accepted.

I live in Kingston Surrey KT25DJ and happy to drive part way if that helps.

PM me if you’re interested - tks

Is your GS up for sale here yet?

I might be interested in the back boxes but would need to add the cost of a remote valve control kit as well as fitting to my 4200 so not sure the numbers will be too favourable.

I'll see how much it will cost to add the valve kit to a 4200.

I’d prefer a member to have them so let me know once you have the numbers I’m happy to take a bit less from the forum.
I’m due to pick up a car later today so will be trading it in, so its not on here.

Will do...will just need to get an idea of what it will cost to get the remote kit fitted. I can see it on Larini's site but no idea on fitting. Might be beyond my skills....maybe not.

What car have you got coming in out of interest?

Ok. I don’t want to tempt fate as leaving to pick up in a few mins. It’s Italian :). Will post up later when back home.

Well I’ve had a disappointing afternoon, after paying a deposit I was on my way to close off the admin and pickup a 360. The dealer called me en-route to say they have sold the car at full price to another customer. I had negotiated a small discount off the asking price earlier this week.

I won’t post up any specific details of the dealer as I’m sure these thing happen and I’ll move on plus I have my deposit back.

So I’m back on the trail for another car.

That is absolutely disgusting behaviour from the dealer, seeing as you had paid a deposit.

Surely if you agreed a deal and paid a deposit, that’s legally binding - is it not? Not that it changes anything per se, but I’d like to know. Sounds to me like the dealer broke the contract.

Pants.....that is not good news.....sorry to hear that.

I had a very very similar thing recently on a very special TVR Chimaera 450 Turbo with a guy called James Henderson from Greenside Cars in Norfolk.

We agreed a deal then suddenly I was told another 3rd party had nipped in and done a deal without my knowledge. Bizarrely the deal he accepted was worse than mine as he took in a 75k Sagaris in part ex against the 25k Chimaera!

I had a decision to make at the time whether to litigate against it or not as it was a very special one off unique car. I decided not to but was pretty p1ssed for a while.

It lead me to my V8 Vantage though so worked out OK in the end. Well I say end as that debacle hasn't been concluded yet! Having a few issues with this dealer now as well!!

Is it worth speaking to Harvey @ AV? They often know of cars either worth buying.....or not. Or any that might be for sale but not necessarily on the free market.

Yes I agreed and deposit paid, the contract was broken but there’s not much I can do in this situation.

tks-I can now see this happens more than we realise. I spoke to Harvey when they completed the annual service, he has been very helpful.

That stinks to be honest.
Before the Maser travelled great distance including overnight stay to buy a 928GTS. On arrival the dealer claimed an overseas buyer was prepared to pay more than the asking price...but I could have it at the same higher price. I walked. Mate phoned the dealer on my way home, it was still for sale at the original price...dealer trying it on. The dealer the famous BBC Watchdog Williams Motors a few years later.

That’s not good and you’re taking it far better than I would. That dealer has behaved appallingly in my opinion.
Good luck with finding another.

Im actually really peeved but as there is nothing I can do will just move on. I’ll have a smile on face when I get another car. so that’s something to look forward to. Thanks very much.

If I were you, get the other car elsewhere, drop in, and then when you trade that in for a 458, drop in and say, look what you could have sold me then, then when you trade the 458 for a super fast, pop in again, look what you could have sold me

Hoho yes, it would be so funny to see the salesman’s face.

How disappointing as the 360 is a good car especially a Modena F1 loved mine a few years ago.
Good Luck with your search.
Does that mean your GS is still available ?
