Med Blue 05 plate GS with 35k going to the block at BCA Enfield today. Not sure why its not been on their site for long, but if anyones in the market, I reckon it could be good value. Usually when GS's come up, they put them on the site for 4-6weeks in advance.

Personally, I reckon it'll get £21-22k based on them selling a one owner 56 plate Nero car a month or so back for less than £27k.

A call to Maserati UK should firm up the spec and a call to some dealers would give you the history. I've found BCA very helpful with this too if it takes anyone's fancy. Shame its such short notice, surely someone on here would have ahd a look?

Think Andrew its a winter thing in general across the range, Woody's 27K GS for a 56 plate is about right for the auction, add on Auction buying fees on top of that , add on a service and valet and your approaching £28500 ,add a warranty and dealers proffit and your up to early £30K most cars that end up at auction are due services and have foibles that need sorting , so for the private buyer who knows what he's doing a couple of grand can be saved and thats with no warranty either ,

I dont know what this car will/did sell for as I've not been able to go to the sale. The cars that I've seen SELL at auction and then ended up at dealers have had 18-23% mark-ups.

Are prices dropping? Yes, I think they are. Do I want them to drop? No. Despite being in the market, as a massive GS fan, I really dont want them to become comonly available at sub-£20k. At that price, I think they'll fall away from enthusiast and it wont be long and you'll be seeing some very sorry looking GS's around. Unavoidable though.

Woody, I dont' think we will see too many sub 20k GS even next year...but I think we will see most dropping under 30k..Unkless star ship miles that is..

i have noticed on Pistonheads, there is not very many GS for sale, usually this year there has been 20+, yesterday, it was saying just 15.
