Good day,

Can anyone recommend a body repair shop anywhere around South/South East England? I unfortunately clipped a fox a while ago which damaged the passenger side of the front splitter/diffuser? Basically the wing under the front bumper :)

I have attached a photo taken shortly after the accident but it has got a bit worse since then. I'm not sure how easily you can see it, but it looks like the strut holding it to the bumper has loosened and cracked and some of the paintwork has disappeared. There is also a hole underneath this wing.

Ideally I am looking for somewhere near Farnham/Hindhead/Guildford but I'm happy to take her further afield if needs be.

And as I'm sure you can all tell from the photo, my baby is a Gransport.

Cheers,

Antonie

Not in your area Antonie, but I'm sure someone will come along with some suggestions for you..!! It sounds as though it might need a bit of plastic welding before a paint job. You will need a good bodyshop who can do that and the bumper assembly has to come off to do a proper job..!! I know somewhere up here, but that's miles from you of course..!!

The splitter bots onto the bottom of the bumper. Looks like yours has pulled through the hole. Sadly the bumper needs to come off to get the splitter bolts. Emblem in Poole will be able to sort it out for you using their approved repairer.

It's a heck of a job, it took I think 6 hours to take off on my facelift 4200, that's take off and strip everything..!!

My bodyshop recently sorted the front splitter of my Alfa 156 GTA, in situ, when other places claimed it needed replacing. Looks lovely too.

It is in Tunbridge Wells, Kent if you are interested.
