Hmm....not sure if there's anything like that on line.

In the UK, we're relativel limited in terms of the number of colours. I dont have the stats to hand, but something like 80% of the cars are either grey, silver, black or blue.

In terms of interiors, there's various different leather colours and britex/technical cloth. IIRC, britex (or tech cloth) came in just a handfull of colours - grey, blue (looks turquise) and black. I think there might be one more colour, but its late on a Friday :). In terms of the leathers, there's all sorts of colours, but again some are far more popular than others. Over 50% of UK GSs have black leather (or black leather an 'technical cloth'). Next popular is avorio (light cream) or beige, which account for another 20-odd% of interiors, then the rest is made up of an array of colours.....blues, reds, and tans.

In essence, the GS is pretty rare in the UK. If you want a black/silver/blue car, with black/beige/blue interior, you should have to look too far....if you're after something a bit more scarce, like Bianco Fuji (pearl white) or an interio like cuoio (tan, sort of), you might have to sit tight for a while.

Happy hunting.

Best place to start is just go through the classifieds....You can find the different colour and specs that are currently for sale..........Not that many for sale at the moment or at any time to be honest......Woody has really gone through the colours...............When the car came out most had the tech cloth and leather and these cars are worth slightly less than ones that have full leather as in general the tech cloth is not popular with all.....................

There are three models.....The first GS, the LE version which was like an end of line car on 2006/2007 which had most of the options from the the option list on the car as a package and then there is the rare MC Victory which was build to selebrate Maserati's racing wins with the MC........This car has the most stunning set of sport seats in....

Sure you have looked here already but here are the three best places to start.......ALso worth talking to Dicky Grace as he is a well respected Maserati specialist on here and will give you good advice and could even find you the car you are looking for...

17 fro sale on PH

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/list.asp?s=816

16 on Autotrader but most are the ones on PH

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/search/...price-from/500/onesearchad/used,nearlynew,new

5 on ebay but most are on the other sites............So as you can see not a great deal for sale...

http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_n...0&_odkw=MASERATI+GRANSORT&_osacat=0&_from=R40

And here is Dicky's web site..

Hello George from a new member to the forum and the UK having moved here form Adelaide in June.

I too have an interest in a GranSport and have been comparing prices to home, the GS seems to be reasonably priced in Oz in a relative sense unlike some others such as the 911 Turbo. Is the saving to import your own worth it in this case?

Cheers

Hi Mondie
I'm keeping an open mind about it. I agree the prices may not be that far apart. Perhaps 5-10k if my calculations are correct. The attraction however seems to be that there are more cars to pock from and getting a car to my taste may be easier. I will keep monitoring both UK and Australian cars until I feel I have found the right one.

Cheers mate

Ah now I understand George. The variation in colour and interior makes almost every car unique so I can see were you are coming from. If there is anything I can do to help drop me a PM

The original sales brochure indicated all the permutations.

Frank you posted a link to a soft copy at one stage?

Ps - I fancy one, but not paying eBay's £20 lark when they're Euro 4 or something silly from the factory.

Sorry Woody was talking about the product information and pricing brochures for the range not the GS brochure......................Frank that one went cheap...£6....they usually go for around £16/£17
