Grancabrio MC MY13 Future Prices??

I have just switched from my grancabrio sport into MY13 Grancabrio MC (quite a rare find). Just wanted your guys oppinion on the value of these cars-in specific the MC.
Just wondering whether to keep if for a while or sell it after a year. I know they are discontinuing the grancabrio range altogether next year.

Apart from the Stradale, I don't think any of other Maser holds their price as much as a Grancab. I would say you could drive yours for some time knowing it'll not burn your wallet.

As above really...they do tend to hole there value better than the Coupe...The MC shift is pretty rare and depending on what you paid should not be a disaster at trade in sale time...I love the MC Grancab and is the pick of the range .... I would also be tempted to take over a Stradale....After all it is a full auto Stradale in all but name and will hold it's value better than the Coupe due to rarity....Far more coupes Stradales for sale than MC Cabs.......For me it would be a keeper I think.

Get some pictures up when you get a chance as would love to see her.

Maserati made 3 models if Grancabrio.
1) The Grancabrio which is a normal 4.7
2) Grancabrio Sport- normal 4.7 with clear led lights and bodykit
3) Grancabrio MC and MC Centenial
The confusing thing is the MC cabrio is a normal automatic with the extra body kit, vents in the bonnet and wing, uprated central exhaust system etc. There are a few mods to give the 4.7 extra HP but the transmission is the same as the GTS I belive. I don't have that button and clutch like the MC stradale yet my car is still and MC.....great sounding car!!

Very nice indeed. The volume of production is so low that I think it was just easier to make one model using the auto. That's probably what the USA and Chinese markets wanted so that's what they did.

At least I would save on those clutch changes; -)
By the way anyone know what the cost of warranty renewal would-be. ...my factory warranty runs out in May this year.

If they class you car as a Stradale then I did hear they don't extend due to the nature of the car....Or they didn't with the 2 seater Stradale...Sure I heard that on here...Not sure if they changed their minds when the 4 seater came out.

I went for the factory 2 year extended warranty at about £2400.

That's not a bad deal! Which dealer was that with?

Yes I heard about the straddle .....will have to find out

Warranty direct are great ....have used them before but I have the option of the factory one for now....

It was my supplying dealer - Graypaul Edinburgh - but that was nearly two years ago now.

Yes you are right....it's the standard grancabrio 4.7 which has 10BHP less and I think it's also heavier.

Bizarrely Maserati have managed to make the 4.7 in four output levels only separated by 30PS in total. Not sure I believe any of it, still love the engine mind!

The MC Grancab is not the fastest of cars but the sound is epic!!! One thing I do miss is my 4.2GT with the GTS exhaust open valves.....the popping was insane on downshifts.
