Hi All. Looking at buying a 2007 4.2 gt. What are the service costs like? I’m based in Liverpool - does anyone know any specialists near the area? Thanks!

Have a read around the forum, as there is a wealth of info on what to expect.
On average, most people say allow 1000-2000 a year for maintenance, some years it'll be more, others a bit less.
I know Marios at Autoshield is highly recommended and is in Manchester.
On an early car like a 2007, there will be lots of potential big costs if they haven't been previously addressed, Bushes, brakes, variators, cam cover oil leaks, AC compressor and sub-frame corrosion being the main ones, So go in with your eyes open.
If you don't know what to look for yourself, DEFINITELY get a pre-purchase inspection done.
Or if your handy with the spanners, you can make some big savings doing stuff yourself.
