Gothard Pass video

Having finally had two minutes to rub together I've cobbled together this video of the Gothard Pass which I took in August last year. I haven't done a good job from an editing perspective - it's mostly a fairly lazy joining of the three GoPro videos which constitute most of the length of the pass. Regardless, it sounds fantastic, like wot a Maser should, and the scenery is amazing. Best played large and loud, I reckon. I hope you enjoy it. I did.

PS - in case you think I was driving like some kind of nancy keep in mind that I had the kids in the back, the wife in the front and three weeks worth of shite in the boot. So it wasn't a **** for leather attack.

Fantastic video Adam - top job! It sounds fantastic out of the hairpins and through the tunnels. I notice that you didn't stop at the restaurant at the top; that's a pity, as they do a great lunch.....maybe next time?

Thanks for the comments. Martin, the mic was by the rear bumper, out of the wind. The audio off the front camera was useless, as you'd expect.

Adam, we stopped briefly, but only for a quick look at the view and listen to the cowbells.

Slightly shorter version with an overlay of the rear camera. More demonstration of video-editing ineptitude (but mercifully that's not how I make a living!).

Hi Adam your car sounds but more soothing than mine. Excellent road, great piece of recording. I believe your recording kit is a bit more sophisticated as there is no noise other than the intended exhaust note.
