Yeah saw that too, nice write up.... and it seeems the reviewer preffered the Ghibli over the Daytona. "I always pretend Im driving a Ghibli when Im behind the wheel of my Reliant"

I agree, a very written article, which isn't biased towards the Ferrari. Whilst I have always liked the Daytona, it's nice that the Ghibli is given a positive review. Of note is that it was a more expensive car in period than the Daytona. The snobbery usually shown towards the Trident brings to mind a recent conversation I had with a Ferrari owner, who when told I had a Maserati responded by saying that I had his commiserations. I had to refrain from saying what I really thought of his arrogance. I'd never dream of putting any one down in any way related to the cars they have, all of these great Italian designs are there to be enjoyed.

Guess there will always be snobs.

Its a tough one! The Daytona (and the Dino) are me favourite Ferraris, but being a Maser man now, I should favour the Ghibli. The Ghibli is immense, and it sounds like a very objective write up but the Daytona still gets my vote.

Yes....Ferrari ownership doesn't always bring out the best in people!!! I would use the word fool instead...................because I can bet you........he couldn't raise ANY argument at all as to why Ferraris were in any way better tham Maserati!

NONE!!!!

Yep,

Some folk just can't be gracious. And he made a big noise about picking up his 458 Italia, but I wasn't going to go down to his level
I once had plans to have one each of the major marques, Lambo, Maser & Fez. But then again I enjoy cars for what they are and the fact that I've ended up with two Maseratis is just a happy accident. They give me joy, I get out them at the end of a run smiling and I enjoy the enthusiasm such as that shown by this forum. Stanford hall was fun, just work has made it difficult to meet up at other events.

Like Matt I've always liked the Daytona and Dino but also the Ghibli, Bora, Merak, Iso Griffo, certain Lancia, Jensen, Aston, Jaguar........ (Oh to have a garage like Leno)

It's meant to be fun, or am I missing something.......
