Hi and welcome.
Removing and refitting 5 year old sensors for the powder coating could have caused a issue.
Dealership diagnostic should be able to find it though from my experience working for them.

Hi thanks for the the info I will pass this on. Also have you had any experience of the sound system turning it's volume up and down very high and low as and when it feels like?

They have said it is showing no fault codes and dismissed the matter stop start is also temperamental along with a few other electrical probs .Not what I was expecting for a car of this age with all the modern tech at hand

Is the battery on its way out?

As far as I know it seams fine, always starts ok maby as it's pretty much first generation for this car faults have not been ironed out but I'd of thought they could still be traced

Interesting thread as I am thinking of getting my alloys done. Just checking they did removed the sensors first (obvious question but worth checking!)

Also what alloys have you got and what colour did you get them done?

I can't say as I bought the car with the wheels already coated, they are 19inch Maserati ones though done in black which look so much smarter and sportier

If it turns out to be the sensors, you can get new ones pre-coded from TPMS warehouse for far less than the main dealer costs. I bought winter wheels for my Ghibli and these worked perfectly.

not sure if its any use as my car is a Quattroporte, but when I had my wheels refurbed the TPMS sensors were removed from the wheels and refitted, everything worked again. Mine were the 20" QP wheels, not that it should make much difference

They replaced all tpms sensors and now all is good however now sometimes the main lights stay on when on auto setting when the car is turned off.

That could be a “follow me home” setting that keeps the lights on for a while when the light is dark enough.
