I like this a lot, just replace the wood with carbon fibre.

I like it alot as well Adam...Been for sale for over a year and still on the European Autotrader.......Woldn't change the wood Adam as that was a Maserati trade mark in the 80's and early 90's....It also goes very well with the black interior and lifes it out the dullness....I like.

just been looking through the other cars for sale on there, there is loads of Ghibli's on there, some nice Ghibli GT's, also quite a few yellow Ghibli's on there, most are sold though.

Wonder why it hasn't sold yet, 84K KM is not that many really, equates to around 50K miles. I would change the wood but still keep it as if i wanted to sell it on, then the buyer could have the choice of wood or carbon.

Not sure if they snap these up in Europe and its not cheap enough for anyone over here to import...17k Euros.....Also you can see how longs its been for sale from this line..

The car has a valid Italian MoT, as well as current ACI membership valid until April 2010!

yeah just read through the advert again, also if the car has been for sale for a year, those pictures are the original ones, the car may not look as good now. 17k euro's is not a bad price for it but shipping it over would be costly like you say.

Well was just having a look at that one....Wonder how much it costs to bring them over and get them sorted...........Far more choice in Europe and some say better condition as well...So I've heard...Bet its a mine field though. Wouldn't know where to start.

i bet it is not cheap but it would depend on how far away the car is, for example, to ship a Ghibli from france will be cheaper than shipping one over from Italy; and no, i wouldn't know where to start either.

Would just drive it over rather than ship...Then its a case of getting legal for our roads .... I think...This must be advice some where. Will do a search.

GT looks the same as an early car Adam apart from the silver light surrounds and the wheels I believe...So if you like the GT you should like the early ones.

i suppose some nicer wheels would transform the look of the car, Ghibli Cup is a motor though, a nice car for around 15-20k.

Talking looks here Pibbow......Engine set up etc very different but a GT to look at there isn't much different from a phase one is there? Thought it was the light surrounds and wheels...
