I'm trying hard not to add a Shamal to my garage, but struggling to win the battle! Selling my Ghibli Cup would be the sensible thing to do. Does anyone on here somebody that might like one?

Mine is as good as they come, so if someone wants an appreciating classic Maser that is driveable, reliable and rare, a Cup would be a good option.

I've found the car I want (need) to buy. The black car Dicky has is a bit too long in the tooth for me - a trip to Italy and back and few other jaunts and suddenly the odometer will read in the 90's, which would make later resale tricky. it's been for sale for about 9 months with no luck. It needs to be (IMHO) something like 10k cheaper, or auctioned on the continent. I can't see any UK Maser person paying mid thirties for a high mileage LHD Shamal, and the fact it's not sold seems to indicate that too. But that's not too say it's not a lovely machine. Naturally I'd be happy to be proved wrong, as high values for old Masers is a good thing.

I think Pibbow wants the Open Cup version (i.e. one of the 16 original race cars). Even harder to come by than a Cup like mine (of which 22 RHD cars exist), and about double the price.

That is a lovely car...

Every time I go to that site I end up clicking on the Trofeo Light listing and wishing I had €190k for a track day car...

Thats another car that has been for sale for an age...It is rather lovely...
