It's a great colour- it's better than Grigio Touring I think; silver being the "magnolia" of car colours!

Having said that and although I like it- it's a bit too much for me and although, if push came to shove, I'd buy a car in that colour; I wouldn't choose it!

I actually think the best Ghibli colour (myself) is Grigio Vulcano as painted on cars 400185 and 400202.

I agree with Jim. If I could get my mits on an open cup it would be yellow or blue/green though

Yellow Ghibli Cup does look the nuts, only one left though, Blue i do like but that bright Blue, has to be Nettuno for me or the other darker shade, forgot what it is called. I think Rosso is hard to beat, looks really at home on the Ghibli.

Think that is still around Andy, well according to Enrico's site it is. I really do not like that French Blue on the Cup, way too bright.

some of these colours don't really transmit through photography, you know?

There was a yellow 3200GT which I was "familiar" with through pictures once and when I came to see it in the flesh; only the reg. plate identified it as the same car as it had so much green in the shade which had not been revealed through the images I'd seen...

Yes agree it would not be easy to sell...but I have never really bought a car thinking will I be able to sell it...If I did I would never have had half the cars I have bought...Buy and enjoy if you like it....

Peter

No its not mine I have a 3200, I would like a Ghibli but 15 K for a cup? seems high and if it was a good investment I think it would have sold by now. I went to Brooklands auction last week and a good 456 with 51k miles and a full history went for £23k.

Rex it needs an interior referb, think it's done 80k

They are hard to sell, people shy away from a car that may cost more to fix than it's worth! One needs to be open eyed and passionate to own one. I have a Ghibli GT and will get a Cup in the future but holding out for an Open Cup Evo. I'll be waiting a long time I think.

Unless a peach comes along...............................................

15k for a Cup? I that good value or not?? There was a Red one for sale a few months at about 16/17k, took a while to sell, are these cars hard to value??

There is a dark Red Ghibli GT II on P'heads, 16k(i think) although it has been for sale for a while
