THE MASERATI GHIBLI ACHIEVES FIVE STAR EURO NCAP RATING
27 November 2013 - The new Maserati Ghibli has been awarded two prestigious and internationally recognised ratings for passive safety.
In Europe, the Ghibli has achieved a Euro NCAP five star rating with a score of 86/100, while in the Top Safety Pick ratings, issued by the IIHS (Insurance Institute for Highway Safety), it emerged in the highest possible class for each area of safety analysed.

Ncap is voluntary but as safety is a major selling point is almost made compulsory if you want to gain extra sales

safrane is correct, Ncap is purely voluntary.

Currently the Quattroporte has not been tested by Euro NCAP and therefore does not have a rating.

It's rather good don't you think that Fiat have decided to invest lots of there cash in a new Maser, just like the Alfa 4C project..

Its funny, the Fiat name seems derogatory when mentioning Maserati and Alfa Romeo.. and er Ferrari

Six stars for the QP6. Because, when one of them has an accident, the passengers will so far away from the scene of the crash that they won't even notice.
