First time in sicily and love it. Hired a panda as thought be easier in old towns- which it is.
I'd failed to comprehend how small a panda is now. Also how gutless it's engine even though has an hybrid badge

Enjoy, where are you touring? I have a house in Modica, south of Catania. Montalbano country.

Last time i was in Sicily Allan I went to the house featured in the Montalbano series, and walked along the beach.

Also tried to get up mount Etna but the road was blocked with pumice from the Volcano!

I find the modern Panda quite spacious in its own way (am 6’3 and 17 stone) and very happy to buzz around in one on city breaks etc……. they do tend to smell very hot after being thrashed to within an inch of their lives though

Guessing emissions and economy are to blame to a perceived lack of advancement in engine performance
