So I having had the car (2012 GT Sport) for about 6 months now it has just been recovered under warranty and I am told it will go to Joe Macari. I normally take it to HR Owen where I bought it. The fault could be related to some work they had done before? Should I insist that it goes to HR Owen or should I stick with JM it seems a respectable place and as the work is under warranty all I care about is a good quality of work? have any of you had an experience with either of these interested to hear your thoughts...

After seeing Joe on the TV last week I would have no issue taking a car to him..Superb dealer....Isn't he a service agent for Maserati anyway...

Agree with that, finally managed to get round to watching it last night, and thought he came across as a very decent chap. My QP came via there...

Just be careful about getting anything else done that is not covered by warranty. I had two tyres replaced, which I supplied as they were £100 cheaper than the price JM were able to give me, was told there would be a minimal cost to fit, which ended up as £30 per tyre, which I thought a bit steep. My own fault for not checking fully but there were a number of other things that they found needing to be done which all added up. This is not the first time I had used them and to be honest although the customer service was good I think I would probably go back to Meridien Modena if I had the choice.

Dealers and Indies are out to make a profit and if they don't they go under and we suffer..!! You need to trade off between fair and downright rude, go with whichever seems the best to you..!! You have to spend some money on these cars, but no point being daft about it..!!
