Funny or clever number plates

It’s owned by Porsche UK and usually on their press car.

I posted it on page 2 of this thread.
That makes sense. It was brand new - only registered a few weeks ago. The plate almost looked fake on a car out on the road (being too good) - like a show plate on a car in a showroom.

Not particularly funny or clever (so minor thread drift alert), but I’ve just had new plates fitted to the Urraco. I had them made in Italy to the original spec, by the company Lambo used back at that time.

I could look at that Uraaco all day Ewan!

I know some folk bemoan black and silver / black and white plates on anything registered post January '73, but in period some dealers still carried on fitting them to new cars to use up the old stocks, an interesting example is the LP400 Countach tested by Mel Nichols for 'Sports Car World' magazine in June '76, it was registered 'KWT 689N' and wore black and white plates from new.

Spotted this rather lovely 308 at Brands Hatch Ferrari challenge in September 2022.
I've checked & I'm pleased to see that the plate is still assigned to the same vehicle.
