Well, it's not quiet but it's a very nice loud rather than loud for the sake of loud if that makes sense.
At tickover, it has much more of a deep rumble which is very nice and a big improvement over the standard boxes, and does not get screamy until you hit the high revs. What has really struck me so far though is the improvement on the in-car sound when the car is NOT in sport mode which is how I would drive it on long journeys or when I have passengers who don't appreciate a din. Previously with the x-pipe and sports cats, when the sport mode was not on, you didn't get much of a noise at all from inside the car but now it is very pleasant and much improved. Of course with the sport mode on, all **** is let loose as you would expect and the symphony is incredible.
The boxes were fitted at Autoshield today and we did all laugh when we were sitting in Marios' shop, a good few hundred metres away from the workshop itself, and we suddenly heard over our chatter and the traffic noise, some crazy engine & exhaust racket which meant my car was ready to leave!
I don't have video or audio but hopefully those interested will get to hear it sometime soon.
Thanks for today Marios & Richard and good to meet you at last gents, a very pleasant way to spend a Monday morning.
