The price of fuel is horrific now but having watched a TV program last night about HMS Manchester, a 30 year old Royal Navy Destroyer wieghing 5000 tonnes and capable of 30 knots, fast enough to water ski behind at full throttle she develops 25000 horsepower and consumes 1 gallon of fuel per 16 yards.

No wonder she is being decommissioned

........not quite RSM.........as our fuel is the MOST heavily taxed/excised/VAT rated in the EU..........its a politically decided price...not market related in real terms.......bar the 18% of the cost which is market related......

Just look at the equation.......banks go bust from acting like hysterical incontrolable greed driven idiots.................pay themselves £1bn in bonuses this year for making some money back.......the other 99.99% of the population gets right royally shafted....just cos those who run the shambles that is Country UK can do so without any hint of true objection from the shafted....................Tunis/Egypt spring to mind....................

let's not get onto the subject of Europe or I will turn into an old man, did you know we contributed £110 billion pounds last year. If we did not pay last years fee all our problems would be over in twelve months.No cuts No more tax.....
