Front seat not working

Hi guys,

New to the forum but after some advice on a 3200 please.

My front passenger seat has stopped moving and is stuck in the forward position, as low as it can go. I can't access the front two bolts to remove them ( and the seat) and as the seat's in the lowest position access underneath is limited.

I've checked the fuses / tried the battery and seat reset to no avail.

Presuming the passenger and drivers seat have the same connections are the same (?) under the driver's seat there are two white to white connectors and under the passenger seat there is one white to white connector and another white connector with a black & blue wire hanging loose with no obvious place to connect into.

Is there any other way of removing the seat?

Any help appreciated.

Welcome to the forums Andrew

Which reset did you do? There is one where you ignition to MAR, open passenger door, then click fwd-back twice in quick succession before tilting the seat forward. It should power forwards then backwards twice the full length of its travel and then be ready for normal use.

If that fails disconnect the white connector and clean the pins with electrical contact cleaner.

Thanks Phil. Yes, tried that reset. Will see if the contact cleaner solves the issue but seemedodd that there would be one loose connector
