Front parking sensors

When I put the car in reverse the noise from one of the front sensors starts even when there is nothing in front of the car I presume this indicates a faulty sensor that needs to be replaced.

Are they easy to be replaced or does part of the front end need to be removed.

Thanks

Probably broken. If you place your finger on the sensor, you can feel them clicking. I'm pretty sure with the GT models replacement is quite easy.

If it's behind the front grill do you need to remove this and do they need painting?
Does anyone have idea of cost for replacement?

I have one that has gone on my spider at the rear but left it - as the bumper needs removing and a fiddly job plus needs to be colour matched
and not realy needed as they are on the GTS

According to Eurospares: £118 each

Check in the menu setting on your car as there is a facility to get the front sensors to work when you might not want them to - switched mine to off when I bought my car.

I think the option here is to either have them on all the time, as I'm in traffic etc which is a real pain even when they
are working correctly. Or to have them come on only after you have selected reverse, which is Normal for most cars.
