Hi mike - saw these too & had simlar thoughts! A grand isn't cheap these days & they won't be to everyone's taste re: colour. Design & authenticity to a GS but if it floats your boat then they're worth the customisation to set your car apart .... What colour is your car? There's still the danger of making it chavtastic!!

I don't think black wheels suit many cars to be honest.
After asking the seller a few questions, he also has an identical set but in white with a blue pinstripe, special order direct from Formula Dynamics. His car was blue, with white leather. Not sure if he still has it. The white seats where also on eBay at a very good price (edit: also relisted)
He has certainly spent a lot of money, but never fitted. Strange.
My car is Sebring Blue, but white wheels...could never keep them clean!

The offset seems to be too wide, so if you see them from above the wings, the wheels come outside the car. It's just like having spacers.

Love the GS wheels, and wouldn't changes them if i had one.

I must admit they do look too wide. On their web site they do say the off set is designed so no spacers are necessary...it's as though they think that spacers are essential! I guess it's the American way, wheels pushed out to the limit. Looks silly to me though to be honest.

If it's the guy selling the interior on eBay may be worth a PM to philw696 as he recently bought some stuff from him, sounds like a rich footballer trying to build himself a gumball car & auctioning off the spare parts.....?!?

I don't like black wheels at all on a prestige car, just my opinion of course. If the wheels stick out past the bodywork that much, it would definitely have the aftermarket boy racer look to the car and it would not be worthy of the Trident.

The ones on the QP are 20 inch the ones for sale are 18 inch so may not look as pronounced.....

If the wheels stick out past the wheel arch, the bodywork is going to get blathered all the time and a large risk of paintwork damage from stones etc. It's just not worth doing it??

I saw a GS with 19" FD wheels on it at my local grey importer and they looked completely wrong. The front wheels in particular protruded well outside the arch and ruined the clean lines of the car. The original GS wheels are the ONLY ones I would consider having.
