Are you getting the DBW as well?
Eb

I have a manual so didn't really see the point as the one advertised on their website is for CC cars. FD do offer a manual specific DBW module which enhances throttle response if you contact them... but I didn't see the point as with my modified exhaust I'm happy with the throttle I find it a bit of an animal in traffic even when being gentle.

FD will reprogram/check the module along with giving a new harness, instructions and bypass plug for a small fee.

I'm going to ask for fuel efficiency mapped to 99 octane as that is all I feed her. For the performance option I am not sure to go for peak BHP or peak torque which will probably provide a better user experience on the road.

What do you guys think will be better peak BHP or Torque? I have had primary cats and squish pipe deleted 100 cell race cats and unsilenced x-pipe.

I heard the small fee was $250 which is why I didn't go for it , is it less then

..plus shipping BOTH ways.
Could be cheaper now than a couple of years ago though. Possibly.
Still much cheaper overall than buying new however.

I contacted FD and asked them how much and what's involved, they responded within a day and I was happy with the offer from both sides... hopefully there won't be any problems fitting it to my old banger 4200. If I get it back in time I'm going to ask Autofficina to fit it during the major service end of January

So no opinions on peak torque or BHP? :)

If you use it to tow a caravan, go for torque. If you drive it like you stole it, go for bhp. Trust that helps.
