WBAC online valuation is £6800 but I expect them to drop a fair bit on inspection. Did you try Evans Halshaw?

And that won't take into account the GS bits.
You could convert it back to 4200 spec, sell the GS bits, and be much better off.

That was one of my original quandaries. Wonder if it would be worth making the new facelift 4200 car into a GS looker and return this 4200 back to a stock 4200 however it would be upgraded to a facelift rather than Classico.

They are both Blu Nettuno so it is a genuine option.

Spot the difference...

Ah, an old flame....car not person ;) Sorry to see it leaving you Newton. Hope it has looked after you well.

Still a cracking looking car the 4200/GS in Blu Nettuno. Nothing good or bad is selling particularly quick at the moment and the market has stalled massively. I wouldn't be too concerned as most are having the same issues.

If you are not in any rush (I hope your not) then it will sell at a decent enough price. You just need to be patient and the right buyer will come along soon. A manual 4200 that looks like a GS is a pretty rare thing. In fact it is the only one I know of in the UK.

It would break for £6.5k so will be worth a fair bit more than that. Of course if you need to sell it quick and can't wait for the right buyer/price you may need to take a hit. However I'd be pretty confident someone would buy this at a much higher price. Only issue is (don't laugh!) that you may need to wait anything up to a year to achieve it.

An Ebay Classified Ad is your best bet for about £25 I expect as will stay on there until sold with no final value fees.

Hi Dean,

I hope all is well.

The car has been nothing except amazing and I'm gutted to see it going, but family doesn't want to come back to the UK so we are moving back home and I won't be able to keep this car in there. Unfortunately my last day will be the 1st of August so I don't have a lot of time :(

I will also give it a try with ebay.

Many Thanks,
Newton

I haven't tried them yet, I'm also trying to arrange a 6 bedroom house move and that has been a huge effort in terms of time and preparing everything. I'm going to get some time next week so I will try to contact a few dealers. I know I will take a huge hit on it but I have made peace with that. Thank you

Gees, you are a busy boy! Try www.motorway.co.uk as well as free to sell but should achieve higher price than WBAC or EH.

I am tempted to buy it back and make one 4200 slightly better and one slightly worse but struggling to justify it at the moment. I should be in a selling phase not buying one!

And that is just the beginning the amount of paperwork and legal stuff I need to do in order to settle everything in the UK is insane, settling my company and everything.

Well if you are interested I would make it £5k for you as you were nothing but amazing when I bought it from you.

Let me know if you are interested.

Cheers,
Newton

I can imagine the paperwork and time must be immense. I am sure it is for the better and will be worth the short term pain for long term gain. The very best of luck with it all.

Let me have a think on taking the car back. I really don't need another at the moment and shouldn't but why did that ever stop anyone! Rationality....funny word!

I'll drop you a message in a bit. At least my wife would think it was the same car and not think it was 2! Unless they were side by side then it would be a little harder to convince her
