I spent quite a while looking for a picture of ye olde Maserati F1 I really liked. (and almost as long getting it from the Royal Mail)..

And to be fair this is not not usually my style but I absolutely loved it.
Signed by the great man himself (RIP).

Very good pal of mine bought me this 20 years ago. I wonder how long the lockdown would have to last before I could get round to building one from scratch...View attachment 69348
Now that is what you call 'Proper' Technical Illustration (Art) done with Ink pens/Ellipse templates/Ships curves, and without any AutoCAD................I do miss doing this. Here's one I knocked up of a racing Sloop about 30 years ago!

That is beautiful and should be worth a lot more now because of his very sad passing!:(

That reminds me that a friend of mine bought a Rolf Harris painting in a charity auction in December 2012, thinking that it might appreciate in value. The following spring Operation Yewtree put paid to that.

I did the same. I really liked Teen Wolf so sent off a letter to ask Michael if I could have his autograph.................but, alas, I was too late!!
