Ferrari inspection - Surrey

So given I have a measure of interest in this car (in the absence of a more compelling early model 456 manual)...

.... can anyone suggest how they'd go about getting this car properly inspected if they were - like me - more than a casual swim and shuffle away from Reigate (coupled with a complete ignorance of what to look for - my own Maser mechanic telling me it is essential I verify the electric windows function properly?!).

I'm not motivated anywhere near the asking price...but my presumption is there may be some wiggle room.

Any recommendations for on site mechanics or nearby garages? The former may be preferable as I also have JDM cars I'd like to have inspected around Reading and Gaydon as well....

and depending upon the month of manufacture...it is likely I will need to secure storage for several months as well.....

An early manual 456 is a good shout. But the windows will be a problem and probably won’t fit properly. The rear shocks were another well known weak point. This car would make about £35k at auction, so haggle hard.

I had one for a few years, back in the day. Lovely car, but ruinously expensive (though much of that was the heinous depreciation).

The seller seems to be short of time or interest on the ad! Lovely car and colour combo though.

I agree the price is very strong. For that mileage in the current market I wouldn't feel I would need to pay more than £40k tops.
