Sort of baby Lagonda with those lines. Very stylish!

It does , although it could be argued the Lagonda was a big 400, I think it came out two years later. I remember seeing one drive off the hovercraft at Dover back in the day.

Bloody love 400s just so elegant. First saw a black one when I was a kid, pulled out of a side lane onto a country road and gunned it off into the sunset. I was on my bike! Made the hairs stand up. Tried to by one in my early 30s, made an arrangement to view at Verdi, drove up to London and when I got there they just said it wasn’t there and treated me with utter contempt. Probably a lucky escape. Then saw one up on the ramp at Meridien when my (ahem) Mondial was in. Technician said “you need a frigging big cheque book to run that.” One day……

It’s not too late. They do crop up for sale from time to time.

For a car that became unloved by many I look at the one in our village and find myself lusting after it.
Taking a double look as you would a beautiful woman it's a very pretty car and everyone needs to try a V12 I did it with the 456.

Gorgeous cars, so elegant. Used to walk past one on the way to work when I lived in Hammersmith in the '80s, silver with a red interior, it looked decidedly exotic compared to everything else at the time.
