FD Sports Catalytic converters

Are these in place of the primary cats....cost each $850 or .....anyone got them......etc?

The standard 4200 cat sections have 'primary' cats behind the exhaust manifold (the US spec has the primary cats built into the exhaust manifolds!) then the 'squish' pipe and finally the secondary cats. If these 'drop in' cats are designed to follow the Larini principle, you'd dispense with the primary cats and use the drop in units to replace the secondary cats, or so I assume?

They dispense with the primaries and replace the secondaries with sport hi-flow cats.
