Do we have any members in Fareham area, who may be able to pick up an exhaust back box for me? It is listed on ebay as pick up only, but unfortunately appears almost in France and I am in Scotland. I would need to arrange delivery later.

Ah, the old "collection only" wheeze. How often is that employed to get around PayPal protection.
Have often bid at the very last second and immediately contacted the seller to ask about a courier.
Apologising and claiming "I didn't have a chance to ask beforehand". As done politely have only been refused once.

I visit Wickham (the village next to Fareham) about once a month, so might be able to help. And I have daily collections from my office by DHL and Parcelforce, so on-shipment wouldn't be a problem.

Re: PayPal? They only provide protection for purchases that are delivered.
Re: the cynical undertone of my comment? Being a dour East Coast Scot I prefer to consider this pragmatic realism
