The figure of 4 McLarens is utter tosh. I know more than 4 people who bought the 570S last year. I reckon it's more like 25 or so. McLaren Glasgow does a great trade to England as I understand it also. Speaking of which, McLaren do 36k down and 995 a month with a final value of 97k. If you where offered a Stradale for say 30k down and 850 a month, would it become tempting?

It will be down to address of first registration. As you know there is a long history of Scots coming home to buy nice cars due to good, long term service and keen deals. My local Audi dealer (Perth) has always benefited from this with S/RS product especially as the garage is still family owned. I know that Graypaul Edinburgh sell a lot of product south too.

There are some still great contract deals on Strads available for the few new ones left unsold. I was offered some good packages when I was considering new last year until I decided to go for what I have now

They did confirm it has ceased, they told me that production ceased as they went into their break at the end of summer and that all orders had to be submitted before September 2016. As far as I have been told, there are a few new cars still with the dealers (GT / GC Sport & Stradale) and maybe a few in Italy available to ship to the UK if ordered by a dealership here

Cheers mate, still wonder what the production line staff are doing as the 4C can't be keeping them that busy!

That would be exciting, a final end of line run out edition. There were no plans for that in the UK when I checked but things can always change
