Facelift a 2008 GTS to a 2013 GTS front bumper

Hi all. I have the opportunity to buy a second hand (43k miles on it) front bumper, off a 2013 GTS, so I could fit it to my 2008 to give it a facelift.

Has anyone done this before? Is it a simple swap for a garage to do, or does it require hours of body shop fettling to get it to fit?

The one I’m potentially buying is black which is the same as my car so it would be less expensive than buying a new part and getting it sprayed.

Just keen to understand if this is an easy swap out or if there’s hidden gremlins.

Will fit straight on, I did it to my 08 quite a few years ago with a strad bumper

Sounds very expensive, unless it’s paint matched and with grill
Scroll through the private listings on here there was a guy who wanted £700 I think

for reference I paid £900 for a strad bumper that needed repainting, I did collect as the scrap yard was local

Is the grill with the silver badge a straight swap as well? Eg, do I need to get the grill with it or will my old one swap out easily too?

Grill is interchangeable until the final facelift which is around 2017/18
