Well, what an issue, Andy has briefly spoke about it but this is one of the best issues in ages (although the Lambo test the other month was good). New BMW M5, well for 73K (best part of 80k with a few options) , it looks so dull it is unbelievable but the F10 is probably not the best looking 5 series ever made.

Ferrari test is interesting as like Andy says, the 348 is supposed to be unloved yet the road testers praise it.

Chris Harris has bought himself a GT3 RS 4.0, nice but 100k on finance, £1280 a month, gee wizz that is plain stupid IMO as he admits he will have to sell the car soon, give it 6 months and it will be gone judging by the way he concludes the first report.


Good issue though, worth getting.

i have the magazine, the M test is good.....loved the old M5s........

new one looks good, i like it.....

See I said the 348 got good reviews....I look forward to seeing Mr Harris on his 911 around Chepstow....I think he must be sh!tting money........A journo buying a 140k car...I'm in the wrong job....

hes paying £1200 a month for it, a good house is half that in mortgage........

He wont be keeping it long though as he said he will not be able to keep up with the payments.

He also owns a few cars, E28 M5, 205 GTI, M3 (not sure if he still has it).

He will have his fingers in other pies though Dem, look at Harry Metcalfe, sold Evo mag for a tidy sum, he is also a farmer and probably does other stuff as well. The other journo's at evo dont seem to spend as extravigantly as Harris and Metcalfe.

Dem, anyone can buy a car, or house, they can't afford and that's one of the reasons the country is going down the sh!tter. Too much stuff bought on credit, it's a national pastime. I prefer to buy stuff I can keep or sell when I want to, not when the banks tell me to.
