I like it a lot P
LHD or RHD does not really bother me,
I like the fact that there is no rust and the interior looks pretty tidy,
the leather on the central tunnel around the gearstick is one piece, which is also a good sign...
Lots of positives, but mechanics and electrics unknown,
shame, but I wont be bidding on it as I just can't handle going over to view it at the moment,
and I would not buy unless I saw it with my own eyes first!!

Timing is everything Enzo , great believer in fate car and house wise , if your meant to have it ,things will fall into place naturally

PS thanks for the Champers really nice gesture , Kaz woofed down those chocs in record time , says it all really

You are right P...it will go for a song, the buy it now price is only USD 16 1/2...
but, then the seller says "Absolutely no rust found anywhere."
...take a look at the front wing, if that's not rust, what is it?
Also not liking the sellers feedback...only 3 negatives, but they speak volumes in my book.

Ok, rust usually being the penetrating kind...;)...terminal.......as opposed to stuff that a light rub from your cuff and it flakes off.......didn't look at his negs....must check it further....

Too true Loz...I'm also a believer that if it's meant to be, it will happen...
I can't even leave Norway this week, booo hoooo, I will be working most of the weekend...
never mind, plan to get home on Tuesday evening, ready for the trip to Llandow on Wednesday.

Not sure about restoration projects in the UK...not many series 1's around.
here is a mint '66 car, slightly later as it has the twin headlamps...
fully restored, and looking the business...all for 35k
(but no matter how well done, it can never be an early RHD series 1, as I keep telling myself!)

Don't think I havn't thought about that a few hundred times...
I'm just glad I'm stuck in Oslo at the moment, otherwise I would have been back to Edinburgh at least once!
