His was a P6B though, not the bigger P5B, A friend of mine did some work on it in the '80s after the police had finished with it, if memory serves it was a V8 Auto on an N plate (when he was stopped by the old Bill Sutcliffe had false plates on it).

It had plates from a Skoda on it he nicked from a scrapyard in Cooper Bridge, Hudds I think.

Nice, my dad had the P5 Mk3 3 litre Coupe in Silver Birch over Admiralty Blue - did about 10mpg when fuel was 50p a gallon

Best time for me was the Champions League final in Moscow in 2008. The most expensive day trip of my life, but John Terry made it worth every penny.

My fave pic of me with my youngest daughter, recent one, all of us born into poverty, we were so poor we didn't have one penny to rub together. When I was a kid I didn't have any clothes until I was nine, then my Dad bought me a cap so I could look out of the the window.

Agreed, told my daughter when she was 6 that she could support any football team she liked but if she choose Man Utd I would kick her out of the house. She saw sense and picked another Northern team but when asked by her teacher why she supported said team she told them of my threat - turns out teacher was a Man U fan and pulled me up next time she saw me and gave me a lecture
