Been a long while since i have made any type of claim , yesterday whilst parked in the Range carpark MK a Ms Marple type misjudged the parking space and caught the bumper of the SLK whilst we were inside getting some plants and a garden hose , ironically and fortunately bang in front of the CCTV camera, bless her little cotton socks said Mrs Marple tried to ignore it after looking at the damage , but an eagle eyed staff member having a crafty *** under the CCTV put a call out on the tannoy to report it and called the reg no out lol, good chap took me to the CCTV camera footage and all was plainly evident, Finally we managed to locate said Mrs Marple and showed he the footage lol bless caught bang to rights ,

Ring the Royal allianz insurance (disability section) this morning to make the claim , took my details and plain and simply said take it and get it done , surprised no wrangling nothing ......................no wriggling trying to say it was a public carpark , very surprising

You have to marvel at the ethics of many of those around us. Clearly the adage 'do unto others' is a quality that some expect of others, but not themselves.

If you don't take to Ms Marple with some piping, i fear the lesson won't sink in.

Consider it your civic duty.

There’s a whole industry setup around making it “easier” from the £2000 collection and delivery charge to the £650 per week hire car all on the at fault parties’ insurance. Ever wonder why premiums are so high.

Very strange , just had a call back probably an assessor on behalf of the insurance offering me to take a cash settlement if i wanted after i have got the quote fo the damage , gets more interesting by the hour
