Driver's seat height

Folks,

Had a look at my first GS yesterday on my quest to find one. Daft question, but does the driver's seat height adjustment go as low as the passenger seat? The height of the passenger seat was fine for me, but the driver's seat was too high (I am 6'6"), and my albeit limited fiddling couldn't seem to get it lower.

There's two buttons, one for the back and the further forward of the two is for the base of the seat. Push this one downwards and it goes pretty low, would've thought it'd be low enough. I'm 6'0 and have my seat almost as far back as possible so there may be a problem back/forward but it should adjust fine for height.

Which GS did you look at, the silver one at £22500?

I've not noticed a difference between my drivers/passengers seats to be honest,, though I will now look!

I'm 6ft 4 and could do with an extra couple of inches of headroom. I have the seat all the way back and laid back a bit (more than I'd like) and I manage, but my bro (6ft 8) wouldnt be able to drive my car. Mind, hes pretty well built too, so if you're slim, you might be OK.

No, it was one in Manchester which is not yet advertised for sale.

Hmm, definitely seemed to be ok with the height on the passenger side, so assuming the drivers side goes down as low, should be ok. Perhaps there was some fault with the mechanism on the particular car. I am slim so hopefully that will help.
