Drain Point 4200 A pillar. & Sat Nav Language change.

I have a 2004 GT. On the Drivers side under the bonnet at the base of the A pillar water does not drain when the car is stationary eg after heavy rain or washed. It does on the near side. The area is directly underneath the bonnet brackets. Where is the Drain hole? Is this a common problem? I assume it is just rodding the drain path with a rod? there is no water coming into the car, and the water goes away after a long drive. However I want this cleared up.

Secondly:
how do you change the language on the In car say nav? Mine is in Italian, which I can follow a bit but not well enough. Was it only in Italian?

Any advice appreciated.

Can can change it to English from Italian.
You will have to search the forum archives though, I've done it, but too many years ago to remember exactly you need to follow a sequence of button presses to get to the secret setup menu.

I had exactly the same problem with water build up as you. From memory you need to use a long piece of stiff wire to poke through the drain holes which will be visible once you remove the plastic trim under the wiper. You have to remove the wiper including the arm before you can take the trim off though. Be careful not to smack yourself in the face when you pull the wiper off, they can be a bit stiff.

Try compressed air to clear the drain...Best from above though. Id remove the scuttle to do it properly but you might get it done from the arch- remove the liner. You should see the drain....The bore decreases as it goes up so your forcing it to a bottle neck from below...
Lucky for you its the drivers side...Passenger side has the blower and any build up this side results in water ingress, at the very least.
Get it sorted...!
