Does anybody have any recent experience of Fiorano in Wembley

Dear Forum friends

My car currently needs some diagnostics to troubleshoot an apparent clutch failure and cannot be done at my local indie garage here in Henley on Thames

I have spoken to Fiorano in Wembley who are only 45 minutes away who have diagnostics and came across as credible, but on simple search here and on google I came across some chequered history. Does anybody have any recent experience good or bad as on the telephone they seem credible enough?

I have tried desperately to find an alternative indie with SD2/3 diagnostics within an hour of Henley on Thames area and failed meaning that I have to look at others such as Bill McGrath who are sound of course and just over an hour away.

Lastly, do I miss any others and is there one single location here on the forum for a listing of independents that are rated and have SD2/3 in house?

Have you tried SB Race Engineering in Watford?

SB are indeed credible and have same basic fixed menu pricing as others for clutch as no surprise, lets just say the typical menu labour price I have found is 680.00 + VAT and currently 765.00 for the clutch + VAT as basic starting point of course!

Now simply a decision to decide where to go SB Racing, Autofficina, or Bill McGrath that are within 1 hour appx of me?

Re Fiorano, have they changed owners or something recently? Worth googling to see if the chap who owned Rosso Corsa is still involved. He had/has a terrible terrible reputation.

You won't go wrong with Bill McGrath, with numerous forum recommendations. I've not heard any complaints about Autofficina, but don't know SB Racing, so can't comment. There was some debate as to whether Fiorano went into liquidation early last year, but I don't know what the outcome was. Toomanyhorses recommended them back in January 2012. How far is Auto-Sportiva? Maybe more like 1.5 hours?

QV in Windsor do clutches, they specialise in ferrari and are ex Marenello boys, they have a guy with a mobile SD2 that comes to them to do the diagnostics.
