Dear All,

Just to let you know that my 32OO is now naked!

Some of you may of met me this year at various events etc where the car had the Trident logo on the bonnet and on the passenger side of the Mas.

Yesterday, I removed them both with little problems.

Just used hair-dryer and the decals came away very easily,

A tip to help is to take the car for a drive to warm up the bonnet which help!

Then using a very small amount of Meth's removed any sticky/tacky film left behind before giving the car a good wash and clean down.

Job done, now thinking about next years bit of bling for the car.

Yeah,

The car look lovely after cleaning it down and back to it's glory but there was that thing of the decals missing and looking naked, though at the same time thankful that no fading/colour variation had occurred

But, lets look to next year and see what design I can come up with,

I thought the decals looked the business Paul,
glad they came off relatively easily and no fading/residue etc has been left...
did you have them made locally? to your design? off the shelf?
Regards,
Enzo.

Hi Enz,

off the shelf,

Searched the web for someone who would Or had the trident logo and then paid my £18.00, cheap I thought!

Easy to apply and now easy to remove.

I will do it again with something orginal for next year and the touring season, any suggestions??

I think that is excellent value...
maybe we should have a competition to see who comes up with a good theme for next year?
I think the trident has to be in there somewhere though, classic symbol...

it is a pity your 3200 isn't red as you could have the yellow stripe around the front grille and the classic Trident logo's down the side.

Hi Pete,

I must admit the decals were placed on areas that could be better for appearance, but hey it's a ten year old car!

Next year, it's going to be like fancy dress with a few more thinking about adding a few decals here and there

Dont think i'llgo the decal route again , unless its 100% confined to the metal work , as some know i had the 4200 decalled up a couple of years back italian stripes for bristol/brooklands car shows etc, having been assurred by the company that did it that it would have no long lasting detrimental affects , removed them no problem from all the metal work , but the ones on the plastics lifted the paint in some area on removal , costly exercise having the bumpers re-painted

regards loz

Hi Loz,

I did recall you saying this, so when I placed my decal on the bonnett only a little bit of it touched on to the plastic
