Must say I preferred the Mangusta (apart from those horrible beetle winged panels into the engine bay) it was pretty and aggressive at the same time. I love that it was called the 'Mangusta' because Mongoose's killed Cobra's!!!

Mangusta is nuts..the Pantera too. De Tomaso nails it for me...

Im still trying to unsee some of the cars GasMonkey Garage turned out...Some great looking metal that turned me onto yank tanks. (Note to self. 'Nooo..they're dreadful d4mn it' !)

The Pantera is a gorgeous brute but I've always preferred the 'Gerry Anderson' looks of the Mangusta...

There used to be a Honda and NSX specialist near us called Two Mills Garage. The chap who owned it had a red Pantera around the back out in the elements. We would go there some times as I has a CRX VTI at the time and we would go to see the car. Very sad to see it in a worst state of repair each time. we turned up one day and it was gone, asked one of the staff where it was and they replied it was now too far gone and was scrapped!!........Made me feel a bit sick!

Remember that as i had a couple of Hondas from the them at the time, think it was Niles, thought he had that up for sale in the showroom though, must have been a differant one, saw it tooling around Chester after he'd sold it.

Yes Ian, it was Niles car, I think he said he bought it as a donar car for his car but thought it was too good to break so he was going to restore it......... But obviously never happened!!
